You're probably right, it seemed to me when I finished the pattern for the bodice that the armhole was a little large, but instead of redoing the bodice pattern I adjusted the sleeve cap, maybe I'll redo the whole thing and see what happens. I'm not positive with out seeing your pattern, but to me it looks like your armhole is the source of your issue.
